Under the Guidance of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and the Supervision of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Institute received the Central Committee assigned by the Presidency of the Southern Technical University to review the Institutional Accreditation files.

The committee consisted of:

• Professor Dr. Waleed Abduljalil, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.
• Professor Dr. Rita Salem, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University Presidency.
• Assistant Professor Dr. Maher Talib, Director of the Continuing Education Center.
• Lecturer Dr. Raed Abdul Zahra, Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Registration, accompanied by the delegation members.

The visit came as part of the continuous periodic follow-up conducted by the University Presidency to assess the Institute’s readiness and compliance with the standards and requirements of National Institutional Accreditation, in a manner that enhances the quality of academic and administrative performance.

During the meeting, the Institute’s Deanship affirmed its commitment to providing all the necessary requirements to achieve accreditation standards, emphasizing the importance of such visits in identifying strengths, reinforcing them, and addressing challenges in ways that contribute to advancing the quality of technical education.

For its part, the Central Committee praised the efforts made by the Institute’s Deanship and staff in preparing and organizing the institutional accreditation files, affirming the continuation of cooperation and coordination to achieve the best outcomes in support of the educational process.

The visit also included reviewing a number of documents and files related to institutional accreditation.

This activity reflects the ongoing efforts of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra to fulfill institutional accreditation requirements and enhance the quality of its educational outcomes in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The committee was received by Dr. Mohammed Hameed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs, and Dr. Aqeel Mohammed Hammoud, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
