It is my honor and a source of immense pride to assume the responsibility of heading the Department of Mechanical Technologies Engineering at the Southern Technical University. This is an academic and scientific responsibility that I deeply cherish, fully aware of the great trust it entails, which demands hard work, dedication, and a spirit of cooperation.

Our ambition is not limited to merely managing the department; it extends to elevating its scientific and academic standards, developing educational programs and curricula to keep pace with the rapid advancements in engineering and technology, enhancing scientific research and innovation, and building a stimulating university environment that empowers our students to acquire the knowledge and skills qualifying them to serve their country and compete in the labor market.

We will work in a unified team spirit, in collaboration with the University Presidency, the College Deanship, faculty members, staff, and students, to solidify the department's position as a center of scientific and applied excellence. We aim to strengthen partnerships with state institutions and the industrial sector, and translate engineering knowledge into practical solutions that contribute to community service and achieve sustainable development.

We believe that universities are built by creative minds, and that science advances through willpower, ambition, and collective effort. From this standpoint, we will exert every possible effort to open new horizons for development and innovation, support researchers and students, and cultivate a generation of engineers capable of leading the future with competence and responsibility.

I pray to Allah Almighty to grant us success in fulfilling this trust, to make our steps fruitful in serving our department, our cherished university, and our country, Iraq, and to always meet the good expectations placed upon us.
