A lecturer at the Institute of Technology and Technical Studies in Basra has successfully completed a number of training courses and obtained accredited certificates.
In line with the directives of the Dean of the Institute of Technology and Technical Studies in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, and in an effort to develop academic staff and enhance their scientific competencies, a lecturer in the Department of Electronic Technologies, Dr. Mahmoud Arif Al-Shuraida, has successfully completed a number of specialized training courses and obtained certified completion certificates issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the (eduba) platform.
The training courses covered the following topics:
- Guidelines for writing and publishing review papers
- How to write a research paper from a reviewer’s perspective
- Reasons for manuscript rejection and how to overcome them
- The concept of the H-index and methods for improving it
- Selecting an appropriate journal and verifying its credibility
This achievement comes as part of ongoing efforts to keep pace with scientific developments and enhance research skills, contributing to the advancement of the academic level and supporting the educational process at the Institute.
