Honoring Distinguished Academic and Administrative Figures at the Closing Ceremony of the Student Graduation Projects Conference at the Institute of Technology in Basra for the Academic Year 2025/2026

The closing ceremony of the Student Conference for the Discussion of Graduation Projects for the academic year (2025–2026), held at the Institute of Technology in Basra, witnessed the honoring of a number of distinguished academic and administrative figures in recognition of their significant efforts in supporting and ensuring the success of the conference activities.

The honorees included the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, the Dean of the Institute of Technology in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, and Professor Dr. Shukr Mahmoud Jasim, a member of the Basra Provincial Council, in addition to members of the main committee and the research discussion committee.

This recognition came in appreciation of their active roles in supervision, organization, and follow-up, as well as their distinguished contributions to the success of the conference, which served as an important scientific platform for presenting students’ outputs and discussing their research projects.

This honoring reflects the University and the Institute’s commitment to supporting young talents and strengthening the academic environment, contributing to the advancement of students’ scientific and research standards.
