“Enhancing Engineering Skills through an AutoCAD Applications Course at the Technological Technical Institute in Basra”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Scientific Division held a training course titled “Practical AutoCAD Applications for Engineering Projects,” aimed at enhancing participants’ practical skills in using AutoCAD across various engineering fields.

The course, delivered by Asst. Lecturer Emad Raad Ishaq, included an extensive hands-on explanation of essential and advanced commands in the software, methods for entering and analyzing engineering data, as well as training participants on preparing drawings and executing technical project requirements in accordance with modern engineering standards.

The instructor emphasized the importance of possessing digital skills in the engineering workplace and highlighted the role of design software in improving the efficiency of engineers and technicians while supporting project quality. The course also witnessed active engagement from participants through practical application and technical discussions.

This course is part of a series of training programs organized by the Institute to develop the scientific and practical capabilities of its staff and students, keeping pace with technological advancements in the engineering field.
