A research team from the Southern Technical University has published a scientific paper at the IMDC-IST 2025 Conference on the Springer Nature platform, marking a significant achievement that reflects the advancement of scientific research in the fields of intelligent systems and processor security. Lecturer Dr. Mahmoud Aref Al-Shuraida from the Department of Electronic Technologies was among the contributing members of the research team.
The team presented an advanced study entitled “Agentic AI Infrastructure: Machine Learning-Based Detection of Hardware Trojans in Network-on-Chip,” highlighting the application of machine learning techniques to detect hidden threats within Network-on-Chip architectures and to enhance the reliability and security of modern electronic systems.
