Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Information Technology Division organized a workshop entitled “Updating the Faculty Database” as part of the Institute’s ongoing efforts to develop administrative systems, enhance institutional work, and advance digital transformation.

The workshop, presented by Ms. Shafaq Qasim Radi, included a practical demonstration on how to update faculty data using the Institute’s approved system. The session highlighted the required fields, procedures for entering information accurately, methods for correcting common errors, and best practices for maintaining data integrity and ensuring continuous updates.

The workshop also emphasized the importance of unifying the faculty database, given its critical role in supporting decision-making, accelerating administrative procedures, and enhancing coordination among different departments and divisions. This initiative reflects the Institute’s commitment to building a fully integrated digital work environment that contributes to improving institutional performance and efficiency.
