Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of Southern Technical University, and under the supervision of the University’s Student Activities Department, the Technological Technical Institute in Basra is organizing the University Futsal Championship.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 6 to April 9, 2026, at the institute’s indoor sports hall, with broad participation from student teams representing various university campuses. A total of 11 teams have been divided into two groups.

The official draw was conducted by Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Director of the Student Activities Department, in coordination with the organizing committee. Representatives from Basra formations attended in person, while participants from Maysan (Amarah), Al-Shatrah, Dhi Qar, and Al-Qurna joined virtually.

The organizing committee invites all students to attend and actively support their teams, wishing all participants success and emphasizing the championship’s role in promoting sportsmanship and fostering positive values.
