Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the University Psychological Guidance Unit, the Department of Mechanical Technologies, and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized an awareness activity titled “No to Drugs… Yes to Life.”

The activity was supervised by Dr. Ali Fakher Habib, Head of the Human Rights Unit, and involved participation from a number of institute students.

The event included the distribution and posting of awareness materials aimed at warning against the dangers of drugs and their negative effects, which cause serious harm to individuals, families, and society. The activity emphasized the importance of promoting community awareness to protect youth from this dangerous phenomenon.
