The Technological Technical Institute in Basra organized a specialized workshop on renewable energy and occupational safety standards, designed to enhance professional awareness and promote best practices in these vital fields.
Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the institute’s Scientific Division, in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Technologies and the Government Media and Communication Division, organized a specialized workshop titled:
“Renewable Energy and Occupational Safety Standards”
The workshop aimed to explore the future of clean energy and underscore the importance of professional safety standards. It was presented by Assistant Lecturer Wasan Louay Jasim, focusing on the significance of transitioning to renewable energy sources while emphasizing strict adherence to safety protocols when working with advanced technologies. This approach ensures both the sustainability of projects and the protection of personnel.
Held within the Department of Electrical Technologies, the event is part of a series of scientific initiatives through which the institute seeks to enhance technological awareness and bridge academic knowledge with contemporary environmental and practical needs.
