Under the patronage and presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the Student Activities Division, in cooperation with the Power Mechanics Technology Department and the Governmental Media and Communication Division, organized a scientific field trip to the Basra Civilization Museum for second-year students of the Refrigeration Branch.

The trip was attended by the Head of the Power Mechanics Technology Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Dana Tareq, along with a number of institute staff members, and saw wide participation from the students. Participants explored archaeological and cultural exhibits that reflect the depth of Iraqi history and its rich cultural diversity.

This scientific field trip aims to enhance students’ knowledge and cultural awareness, connecting them with the historical and civilizational heritage of Basra. It contributes to broadening their perspectives and fostering cultural consciousness, as part of the extracurricular activities that the institute diligently organizes to support the educational process.
