The Technological Technical Institute in Basra held its First Conference on Institutional Performance Evaluation at the institute.

Under the patronage of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and in coordination with the Scientific Division, held its First Conference on Institutional Performance Evaluation under the theme:
“Performance Analysis and the Development of Institutional Sustainability Strategies.”

The conference was attended by deans of Basra’s constituent colleges, the Director of the University Quality Assurance Department, as well as a number of academic staff and employees from the institute and other Basra formations. It addressed key themes focused on developing institutional performance according to modern standards, including the national ranking framework, academic accreditation, energy management and environmental sustainability, as well as annual performance evaluation.

The conference aimed to enhance both institutional and academic performance, analyze the current status, identify weaknesses, and work toward addressing them. It also sought to support quality standards and continuous improvement, thereby contributing to strengthening sustainability and institutional excellence within the educational environment.

In addition, the conference featured a series of visions and proposals intended to raise performance levels and achieve an integrated academic environment aligned with contemporary developments in higher education.

The organization of this conference reflects the institute’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational quality and achieving its strategic goals in building a robust and sustainable academic institution.
