Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Surveying Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training course titled “How to Reduce the Cost of Home Construction.”

The course was delivered by Lecturer Naama Abd al-Abbas Hammoud, who addressed key engineering and economic methods that contribute to reducing construction costs without compromising quality. The course also featured practical models and modern techniques in planning and implementation.

The course aims to enhance participants’ understanding of proper planning mechanisms and effective resource management, thereby supporting the community’s shift toward economical and sustainable construction practices.
