An awareness campaign on the dangers of drugs was organized at the Southern Technical University under the direction of  Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yusuf, Dean of the Technical Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department and under the supervision of Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Director of the Student Activities Department.

The university’s volunteer team conducted the campaign to highlight the harms of drugs and their dangers to individuals and society. The campaign included the placement of awareness posters in all departments of the Technical Institute, including administrative and medical areas, featuring critical awareness messages.

The campaign organizers emphasized that the aim is to increase students’ awareness of the importance of avoiding this dangerous plague and to promote a healthy and safe educational environment. 

The activity received a positive response from both students and faculty members, who expressed appreciation for the efforts made to raise awareness and protect youth from these risks. This campaign is part of a series of initiatives aiming to foster positive values and guide students toward a bright future.
