Electrical Technology Department

It aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in the fields of electricity and electrical energy. The department deals with practical and theoretical applications related to the generation, distribution, and maintenance of electrical systems in the industrial and commercial fields

The Department of Electrical Technologies was established in 1979 to prepare technical cadres in the specialization of power and networks that qualify them to work in the public and private sectors. Establishing the Department of Electrical Technologies to serve as a scientific, cultural and intellectual radiation center in community institutions and includes specialized branches (electrical power and electrical networks) that promote higher education requirements

Preparing specialized and scientifically and practically qualified cadres at a technical level consistent with the requirements of scientific and technological development in the Department of Electrical Technologies (Electrical Power and Electricity Networks)

Creating electrical technical cadres responsible for managing the work of electrical machinery, methods of generating electrical energy from electrical networks and transmission and distribution lines, promoted with academic knowledge and scientific skills
