The Department of Electrotechnology was established in 1987 to be a scientific and cultural center that provides society with the specialization of precision electrotechnics and modern communications.
– Training students to use laboratory equipment and modern software to conduct and simulate practical experiments as part of an ongoing plan to develop curricula and educational programs.
-Preparing qualified and competent technical cadres who possess technical skills in the field of microelectronics and modern communications in terms of operation and maintenance to meet the needs of society and the labor market.
– Preparing specialized technicians in the field of installing, operating and managing modern control systems in the oil industries.
– Participate in conducting applied research in the field of microelectronic technologies and modern communications in a way that contributes to serving society and the labor market.
The mission of the department is to prepare and graduate intermediate technical staff with high skills and ethics at the level of a technical diploma after a study period of two calendar years after the preparatory certificate in its scientific and vocational branches to contribute to meeting and covering the needs of the country and the labor market in accordance with international quality standards approved.
