Scientific Trip Organized by the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Technologies at the Technological Technical Institute to the Muhaiala Water Desalination Plant.
The visit included an introduction to the plant’s sections, the operating mechanisms of the desalination systems, and the various stages of operation. The students were also introduced to the technologies used in water treatment processes, as well as the control and operational monitoring systems within the plant.
In addition, the students received a detailed explanation from the plant specialists regarding operational procedures, maintenance stages, and the methods used to ensure the quality of the produced water, which contributed significantly to enhancing their scientific and practical knowledge in their field.
The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ali Kamel Mohsen, Assistant Lecturer Marwa Kifah Badr, and Mr. Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, who emphasized the importance of scientific field trips in developing students’ skills and providing them with practical experience that helps prepare qualified technical personnel capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market.
