The Deanship of the Institute of Technology in Basra announced the results of the top-ranked scientific research projects as part of the Student Conference for the Discussion of Graduation Projects for the academic year (2025–2026), which witnessed broad participation from all scientific departments.

The announcement followed the completion of the work of the specialized scientific committees responsible for evaluating the research according to precise academic criteria, including the quality of scientific content, the applied aspect, and the level of innovation in the proposed ideas and solutions.

The Deanship emphasized that this conference is part of its efforts to support student potential and develop research skills, contributing to the preparation of technical cadres capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market.

At the conclusion of the announcement, the Deanship expressed its appreciation to all participating students and scientific committees, wishing everyone continued success.

The results were as follows:

First Place:
Smart Campus Management System – Department of Computer Networks and Software Technologies.

Second Place:
Smart Glove for Real-Time Sign Language Translation – Department of Electronic Technologies.

Third Place:
Manufacturing of Three Demonstration Aircraft Models (F-22, Su-57, and Su-30) – Department of Mechanical Technologies.
