“Harnessing Renewable Energy for Sustainable Power Supply to Address Crises.”
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mahmoud Aref Al-Shreeda and Assistant Lecturer Dr. Haider Hassan, both faculty members in the Electronics Technologies Department, with the participation of a number of students and staff from the institute.
The workshop highlighted the importance of renewable energy, particularly solar energy, as a strategic solution to address electricity shortages, especially under current conditions affecting the stability of energy systems. It included a detailed explanation of the operation of solar power systems, their key components, and their role in promoting sustainability while reducing reliance on conventional energy sources.
