Under the directives of the President of Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, construction works on the university’s joint parking facility—shared between the Technological Technical Institute and the Technical Medical Institute—are continuing as part of the university’s development plan aimed at enhancing infrastructure and improving on-campus services.

The project has witnessed notable progress, as engineering and technical teams have commenced the concrete casting phases in accordance with approved technical specifications, under the direct supervision of specialized personnel to ensure high-quality execution and structural integrity.

This project comes within the university’s ongoing efforts to provide an integrated service environment that meets the needs of students and staff, while contributing to the efficient organization of vehicle movement within the campus.

The supervising authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to completing the project within the designated timeframe, while adhering to the highest standards of occupational safety, reflecting the institution’s continuous dedication to developing its facilities and enhancing the quality of services provided.
