Basrah Institute of Technology Holds Workshop on “Administrative Discipline for Employees”
Under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Diya Kamel Shari, Dean of the Institute of Technology, the institute organized a workshop titled “Administrative Discipline for Employees” on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, held at the institute’s conference hall.
The workshop was delivered by legal expert Ms. Suhad Ali Talib, who presented key principles and regulations related to administrative discipline. Her lecture focused on mechanisms for promoting compliance with prevailing rules and regulations, as well as ensuring fairness and integrity in workplace conduct.
The event was attended by the Dean, Mr. Murtadha Mohammed Bandar, Administrative and Financial Assistant to the Dean, along with a number of faculty members and staff.
The session witnessed strong participation and engagement from attendees.
In his closing remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of regularly organizing such activities, which play a vital role in developing and enhancing the capabilities of human resources, and in reinforcing sound professional behavior—ultimately contributing to improved institutional performance and outcomes.
