The Technical Technological Institute in Basra Celebrates Eid al-Ghadeer with a Joyous Ceremony

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diya Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technical Technological Institute in Basra, a joyful Eid al-Ghadeer ceremony was held at the institute. The event was organized in collaboration with the Targeted Content Team of Southern Technical University, the Student Activities Department at Southern Technical University, the Student Activities Division at the institute, and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the institute.

The ceremony began with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the dean highlighting the significance of this sacred occasion and its role in instilling the principles of truth, loyalty, and Islamic values in the hearts of generations.

The event featured a selection of poetic performances expressing love and loyalty to the path of Ghadeer, along with a distinguished participation from the students of Imam Al-Hujjah Charity School, which follows international standards. Their expressive presentations were well-received by the audience.

Various segments of the ceremony aimed to revive the great occasion and implant its noble meanings in the students’ consciousness, thereby strengthening their religious and cultural identity.

At the conclusion of the event, the director of Imam Al-Hujjah Charity School was honored for their outstanding participation, and Ms. Shafaq, a member of the Targeted Content Team, was also recognized for her effective efforts in making the event a success.

This initiative is part of the institute’s efforts to enhance student and educational activities, linking them to religious and national occasions, in a framework that fosters values of belonging, tolerance, and pride in heritage.
