Sponsored by the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies Organized a Humanitarian Visit to the Basra Nursing Home.

This initiative was carried out under the direct supervision of Dr. Duna Al-Aidani, Head of the Department, and Ms. Luma’an Radi Sultan, the department’s coordinator, with the participation of a group of faculty members. The visit aimed to strengthen community engagement and instill humanitarian values among academic staff. During the visit, the delegation offered words of support and solidarity to the residents of the home, emphasizing the importance of social compassion and the need to care for this respected segment of society. The initiative was warmly received by both the home’s administration and its residents, who appreciated the kind sentiments and messages of support. This activity is part of a series of community engagement initiatives adopted by the Institute, aimed at supporting the social environment and reinforcing the humanitarian role of educational institutions.
