Under the patronage of Dr. Arkan Ya’qub Youssef, the Dean of the Technological Institute, and supervised by Dr. Hanadi, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, the department organized a joyful celebration to mark the birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him).

The event was distinguished by the attendance of Dr. Arkan, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Abdul-Nasser Abdul-Jabbar, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Mr. Murtada Muhammad Bandar, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, alongside a delegation from the Southern Technical University.

The ceremony began with a speech by Mr. Iyad, the media officer at the Southern Technical University, who expressed the meanings of loyalty and love for Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him), highlighting the values of justice and wisdom that he represents.

The event featured a variety of activities, including the recitation of poems and speeches that reflected the spirit of the occasion and emphasized its importance in promoting human and social values.

The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of joy and spirituality, with attendees expressing their appreciation for the efforts of those who organized the event, which strengthens Islamic values and reinforces the university’s role in serving the community.
