Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, honored Mr. Ibrahim Abduljaleel Abboud, a staff member in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Techniques, on the occasion of his retirement, in recognition of his dedicated service, commitment to his duties, and more than 35 years of service to the College.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Hameed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs, Dr. Aqeel Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and a number of staff members from the Department. During the ceremony, the Dean commended the honoree for his dedicated efforts throughout his professional career and expressed his appreciation for his contributions to the educational institution. He also wished him continued health and well-being and a fulfilling retirement filled with comfort and stability.

For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Abduljaleel Abboud expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Dean and the Department’s staff for this thoughtful gesture, which reflects the values of loyalty and recognition toward those who have contributed to the College’s academic and administrative mission.

The ceremony also included honoring Assistant Professor Dr. Muad Nasser Hussein, the former Head of the Department, upon the completion of his tenure, as well as honoring Lecturer Dr. Hiba Abdul Kareem Khamis on the occasion of assuming the position of Head of the Department.
