Faculty Member from Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Participates in International Scientific Peer Review

Assistant Professor Dr. Duna Tariq Yassin, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies at Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, participated in international scientific peer review by evaluating and reviewing a research manuscript for Discover Nano, a journal published by the internationally recognized Springer Nature publishing group. In recognition of her contribution as a scientific reviewer, she was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her reviewing activities in 2026.

This contribution builds on her previous peer-review activities for a number of journals published by Springer Nature, reflecting her academic expertise and scientific competence in evaluating research in accordance with internationally recognized scholarly standards.
