Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Conducts a Workshop on the Work Environment and Professional Experience in the Industrial Sector

nder the patronage of Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of Southern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, the College’s Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division and Al Rawan Company for the Production of Soft Drinks, Pure Water and CO2 Gas, conducted a workshop entitled Work Environment and Professional Experience in the Industrial Sector.

The workshop was attended by a number of the College’s graduates and addressed the nature of the work environment in the industrial sector, the importance of acquiring professional experience and the skills required by the labor market. It also provided an overview of practical experiences in industrial institutions and companies, contributing to enhancing graduates’ readiness to enter the labor market.

The workshop was delivered by Maryam Mahmoud Khalid from the Human Resources Department at Al Rawan Company and Engineer Mohammed Mohsen Nima, representing the company’s Technical and Engineering Department. They presented a range of practical insights and professional experiences aimed at developing the professional skills of graduates.

The workshop was held as part of the College’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with the industrial sector and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Such initiatives contribute to preparing graduates and equipping them with the skills and competencies required by the labor market.

The workshop was held in the College’s Central Conference Hall.
