Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Holds the First Meeting of the College Council.

In the presence of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, Basra Engineering Polytechnic College held the first meeting of its College Council, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, and attended by the Council members.

The meeting addressed a range of academic, administrative, and organizational matters, as well as future plans aimed at advancing the College’s academic and administrative performance in line with the requirements of the new phase following the establishment of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College.

The President of the University welcomed the newly appointed Heads of Departments and congratulated them on their assignments to lead the College’s academic departments.

He emphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of teamwork, enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, and providing a supportive university environment for both students and staff. These efforts, he noted, are essential to achieving the University’s strategic objectives and future aspirations.

The meeting also included a discussion of several matters listed on the agenda, with appropriate recommendations and decisions adopted accordingly.
