Under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Institute organized a scholarly lecture entitled “The Legitimacy of Visiting Imam Hussein.” The lecture was held as part of the Institute’s ongoing efforts to promote religious and cultural awareness among its staff members.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Ali Fakher and attended by a number of Institute staff members. The presentation examined the religious evidence affirming the legitimacy of visiting Imam Hussein, highlighting its significance in strengthening the values of reform, sacrifice, and commitment to Islamic principles.
