Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a scientific course entitled “Modern Methods Used in Oil Extraction.”

The course was delivered by Dr. Hussain Ali Jaber, who addressed the most prominent modern technologies adopted in oil extraction operations. He also explained advanced techniques that contribute to improving production efficiency and enhancing the utilization of petroleum reservoirs, while reviewing the latest practices and technologies used in this vital field.

The three-day course was held in the lecture halls of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Technologies and was attended by a number of the Institute’s staff members.
