The Technical Institute in Basra Organizes a Training Course on “The Fluid Dynamics Revolution in the Era of Drones.”

Under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training course titled “The Fluid Dynamics Revolution in the Era of Drones.”

The course aimed to highlight recent developments in positioning technologies and the use of drones in various fields, particularly in engineering and surveying applications. It also emphasized their role in accelerating task completion, achieving high accuracy in data collection, and improving data analysis processes.

The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ayat Abdulhussein Mulla, who presented several topics, including drone operating mechanisms, modern navigation systems, and their applications in geospatial surveying and infrastructure projects. She also reviewed key challenges and future opportunities associated with this technology.

The course witnessed the participation of a number of staff members, who showed notable engagement with its topics and emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in enhancing their skills and keeping up with modern technological developments.

This course was part of a series of activities organized by the institute to strengthen the scientific and practical capabilities of its staff and support the labor market with qualified professionals.

The course was held in the halls of the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies and lasted for three days.
