Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Civil Technologies Department, in cooperation with the Scientific Division and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a workshop entitled: “Modern Devices in the Field of Surveying.”

The workshop, delivered by Engineer Baha Kaatab Habib, included an overview of the most important modern surveying devices and technologies, as well as how they are utilized in the execution of engineering projects with high precision and efficiency. It also highlighted recent technological advancements in the field and their role in facilitating fieldwork operations.

The workshop was attended by a number of staff members and students, who actively engaged with the topics through questions and scientific discussions, thereby enhancing both the theoretical and practical knowledge of the participants.
