From Chaos to Order: Streamlining Thesis Formatting.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Institute of Technology in Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kamel Shary, the Scientific Division of the Institute, in cooperation with the Department of Civil Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a workshop entitled “From Chaos to Order: Simplifying Thesis Formatting.”

The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the proper methodologies for organizing and formatting theses and academic research in a systematic manner, thereby enhancing the quality of academic outputs and facilitating graduation project preparation procedures.

The session, delivered by Mr. Imad Raad Ishaq, provided a detailed explanation of modern formatting techniques, along with practical guidelines designed to help students avoid common mistakes in academic writing and research formatting.

The workshop witnessed the attendance of departmental staff and a number of students, with notable engagement from participants who emphasized the importance of the topic in supporting their academic progress and improving the quality of their research work. The workshop was held in the halls of the Department of Civil Technologies at the Institute.
