The Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, conducted a field visit to the automotive workshop following its recent upgrade with modern equipment and devices within the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies.
As part of his ongoing commitment to strengthening the practical dimension of education and enhancing students’ hands-on skills, the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, conducted a field visit to the automotive workshop in the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies following its recent upgrade with modern equipment and devices.
During the visit, the Dean reviewed the workflow within the workshop and observed the mechanisms used to train students in vehicle maintenance and fault diagnosis. He commended the efforts of the academic and technical staff in providing a practical learning environment that contributes to preparing qualified technical personnel capable of meeting labor market demands.
He also emphasized the importance of continuously developing workshops and laboratories and equipping them with the latest technologies in line with advancements in automotive technologies. He highlighted the need to further support the practical component of education, given its pivotal role in refining students’ skills and enhancing their professional competence.
This visit is part of a series of inspection tours conducted by the Dean to monitor the implementation of academic plans and to advance the overall quality of education at the institute.
