Under the direction of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Scientific Division, in cooperation with the Computer Center at the Southern Technical University, organized a panel discussion addressing the registration mechanism on the IQ Learn platform for students and academic staff. The session was attended by a number of heads of scientific departments and departmental coordinators at the Institute and was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Hameed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Student Affairs.
The discussion featured an in-depth review of platform usage procedures, in addition to highlighting key challenges and issues related to the SIS system. Appropriate solutions were proposed to address these challenges, contributing to the enhancement of both academic and administrative performance.
The session was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Yaqoob, who provided a detailed explanation of registration procedures and interaction with electronic systems, emphasizing the importance of employing modern technologies to improve the quality of education and services provided to students.
This panel discussion is part of the broader efforts of the Southern Technical University to promote digital transformation and to develop the skills of academic and administrative staff in line with the requirements of the modern educational environment.
