Under the patronage and participation of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies at the Institute organized a voluntary tree-planting campaign in the front area of the department building, as part of ongoing efforts to expand green spaces and improve the campus environment.

The campaign witnessed the participation of the Dean of the Technical Administrative College, Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Alaa Hussein, as well as the Head of the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Dunya Tareq, along with a number of faculty members and students. The attendees expressed their support for such environmental initiatives, which contribute to raising awareness about the importance of preserving nature and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the university campus.

The organizers emphasized that these activities are part of a series of voluntary initiatives implemented by the department, aiming to engage students, foster a sense of teamwork and social responsibility, and create a more aesthetically pleasing educational environment that reflects the status of the institution.
