The Technical Institute of Basra Organizes a Workshop Titled “Ramadan: Refining the Soul and Spreading Goodness.”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Institute’s Scientific Division, in collaboration with the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a workshop titled “Ramadan: Refining the Soul and Spreading Goodness.”

The workshop aimed to promote ethical and humanitarian values among students, encouraging them to use the blessed month of Ramadan as an opportunity for self-improvement, cultivating generosity, and fostering a culture of social solidarity, while reinforcing positive behaviors within the university community.

Lectures were delivered by Lecturer Dr. Ali Fakher Habib and Ms. Shafaq Qasim Radi, who emphasized the importance of using this holy month to develop oneself, avoid negative behaviors, and engage in charitable initiatives and volunteer work.

The event was attended by numerous faculty members, staff, and students of the Institute, all of whom actively participated and expressed appreciation for initiatives that contribute to building balanced and conscientious personalities.

The workshop was held at the Institute’s Central Conference Hall.
