Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Scientific Division at the institute, in cooperation with the Surveying Techniques Department and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a workshop entitled:

“Environmental Pollution and Its Causes.”

The workshop aimed to highlight the most prominent types of environmental pollution and their various sources, as well as to outline their negative impacts on human health and the environment. It also addressed scientific and practical approaches to mitigating this phenomenon and enhancing environmental awareness among students and the wider community.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Wadi Mohammed Wadi and was held at the Surveying Techniques Department, where the presenter discussed several key themes related to the causes of environmental pollution, methods of treatment, and possible solutions for preserving and protecting the environment.
