The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, paid an inspection visit to the Technological Technical Institute in Basra. He was accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Alaa Hussein, Dean of the Administrative Technical College in Basra, and Assistant Professor Dr. Munaf AbdulKadhim Al-Qattan, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Administrative Technical College.

The visit aimed to assess the status of the Institute’s infrastructure and to review the progress of its academic and service-related activities. It also provided an opportunity to identify the needs of faculty members and students, as well as to monitor ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

During the visit, the President and his delegation received a comprehensive briefing from the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, who outlined the key challenges facing the Institute and presented future plans designed to enhance the quality of technical education and improve the learning environment.

The President reaffirmed the University Presidency’s full support for developmental initiatives that contribute to strengthening the Institute’s academic standards and service performance, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the University.
