A delegation from the Civil Defense Directorate in Basra visited the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, where they were welcomed by the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, and the Head of the Administrative Division, Engineer Ali Fadhil.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the fields of occupational safety and civil defense, particularly regarding the implementation of preventive measures in laboratories and educational workshops, as well as the organization of awareness and training programs for students and staff members.

The Dean emphasized the importance of this collaboration in supporting a safe educational environment and praised the role of the Civil Defense in enhancing readiness and response to emergency situations. The Civil Defense delegation expressed their full readiness to provide training and guidance programs that contribute to instilling a culture of safety within the Institute.
