The Technological Technical Institute in Basra Organizes a Workshop Entitled “Electric Vehicles”

Under the Patronage of Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Technological Technical Institute in Basra Holds a Training Workshop on Electric Vehicles

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the Qualification and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Power Mechanics Technologies and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a training workshop entitled “Electric Vehicles.” The workshop was delivered by Mr. Hassan Ali Mohsen, with the participation of a number of the Institute’s students and staff members.

The workshop introduced the concept of electric vehicles, explaining their operating mechanisms, key components, and charging systems. It also outlined the principal differences between electric vehicles and internal combustion engine vehicles, while highlighting their environmental and economic advantages, particularly their role in reducing emissions and promoting sustainability.

The event further featured interactive discussions on emerging career opportunities in the field of electric vehicle technologies and emphasized the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in this vital sector. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening students’ competencies and enhancing their readiness for the labor market.
