Workshop at the Technological Technical Institute in Basra: University Student Discipline Toward a Productive Academic Year
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Psychological Counseling and University Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the College of Education for Women at the University of Basra, the College of Administration and Economics at Al-Kunooz University, and the Department of Civil Technologies, and in coordination with the Institute’s Media and Government Communication Division, organized an awareness workshop entitled:
“University Students’ Commitment to Discipline and Regulations Toward a Well-Organized Academic Year.”
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of adhering to university rules and regulations, and to promote positive behavioral values that contribute to creating a disciplined educational environment conducive to academic success.

The workshop covered several key themes, including the concept of university discipline, students’ role in complying with institutional regulations, and the impact of such commitment on improving the educational process and shaping students’ academic and behavioral development. The sessions also featured open discussions with students, providing an opportunity to address their questions and concerns.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the organizers emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such awareness-raising activities due to their effective role in supporting the educational process and reinforcing the principles of discipline and responsibility within the university campus.
