Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, the Technological Incubator Unit, in cooperation with the Electrical Technologies Department, organized a scientific workshop titled “Hybrid Solar–Wind Power Generation.” This initiative reflects the institute’s commitment to supporting innovation and promoting renewable energy concepts.

The workshop included a theoretical session presented by Assistant Lecturer Wasan Loui Jasim, who reviewed the scientific principles of hybrid generation systems that combine solar and wind energy, highlighting their importance in achieving sustainability and reducing reliance on conventional energy sources.

The program also featured a practical session conducted by Mr. Nael Abdul Ameer Hamoud, where participants were guided through the operational mechanisms and practical applications of the hybrid system, including connection methods, operation procedures, and key technical challenges.
