A scientific course was delivered by  Dr. Hanadi Abdul Ridha Latif, during which she addressed the key environmental factors leading to the emergence of environmental stress cracking and their effects on soil and infrastructure. The lecture also reviewed scientific solutions and preventive measures that can be adopted to mitigate this phenomenon.

The course was attended by a number of institute staff members, who emphasized the importance of such topics in supporting scientific and engineering efforts aimed at environmental protection and reducing risks associated with climate change.
