Under the patronage of the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, and as part of University Psychological Guidance Week, the University Psychological Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Surveying Techniques and the Media Division, organized a voluntary awareness campaign titled:
“Drugs and Their Negative Effects on Individuals and Society.”

The campaign included direct guidance to students on the dangers of drug use and its severe impact on personal health and future prospects. Informative brochures were also distributed, emphasizing the importance of avoiding this harmful phenomenon due to its physical, psychological, and social consequences.

The activity was organized under the supervision of Mr. Muhammad Kamel Lazem, with the participation of the Head of the Department of Surveying Techniques, Ms. Abeer Sabri. The campaign witnessed active student engagement and a clear interest in awareness and prevention.
