The Technological Technical Institute in Basra Launches an Awareness Campaign for Smart Drug Prevention

The Career Development, Employment, and Alumni Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division at the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, carried out the activity “The University Initiative for Smart Drug Prevention” as part of the Southern Technical University’s Anti-Drug Week. The campaign was led by Asst. Lecturer Dr. Mahmood Aref Al-Shureida.

The event was attended and supported by the Dean of the Technological Technical Institute in Basra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, along with a number of staff members, employees, and students of the institute.

The campaign included displaying awareness posters on the institute’s bulletin boards, explaining the goals and mechanisms of the initiative to staff members, and expanding the activity to reach the personnel and students of the Medical Institute and other formations within the Southern Technical University.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to present a modern perspective highlighting the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into national strategies for prevention and protection.
