Today, a course titled “English Language” was held as part of the series of activities of the Scientific Research Unit affiliated with the Studies and Planning Department at the Basra Technical Institute, under the supervision of the institute’s dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Youssef.

“Paving the Road Towards INELT”)
This course, which will last for five days, is facilitated by Dr. Abd Al-Nasser Abd Al-Jabbar Aboud, the assistant dean for scientific affairs at the institute, and Ms. Benin Salam Qasim, the head of the Scientific Research Unit. It covers the essential basics for developing English language skills among affiliates and faculty, including fluency in speaking, listening, and reading, as well as reviewing key grammar rules suitable for academic writing, improving pronunciation and vocabulary.
It’s worth mentioning that a major focus of this course is to prepare and train affiliates interested in taking the Iraqi English Language Test (INELT) for the purpose of applying to postgraduate studies, as it has become one of the most important requirements and a prerequisite for acceptance into postgraduate studies.
