Basra Engineering Polytechnic College Launches Campaign to Promote Purposeful Content, Cultural Awareness, and Volunteerism

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, the College launched an awareness campaign in collaboration with the University Psychological Counseling Unit and the Southern Technical University Purposeful Content Team, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division and the Student Activities Division. The campaign aimed to introduce students to the team and highlight its role in promoting positive cultural values and raising social awareness among students.

The campaign sought to introduce students to the Purposeful Content Team at Southern Technical University, a nonprofit volunteer team dedicated to promoting meaningful cultural content, contributing to community protection, and developing young people’s personal skills. It also aims to encourage participation in humanitarian initiatives and volunteer activities that serve the community.

As part of the campaign, students received an overview of the team’s objectives, areas of activity, and procedures for joining and participating in its initiatives. The presentations were delivered by Mrs. Shafaq Qasim Radi, a team member; Dr. Ali Fakher Habib, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit; and Mrs. Huda Hamed, Head of the Student Activities Division.

The campaign also featured the sharing of a QR code linking to the team’s channel, enabling students to access the channel, connect with team members, and join and actively participate in its volunteer programs and initiatives.
