Under the patronage of the President of Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waleed Abdul Jalil Awwad, a workshop entitled “Preparing the Government Program Form” was organized by the Scientific Affairs Department at Southern Technical University, represented by the Government Program Division. The workshop was attended by the Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, and held in the college’s Conference Hall.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Abdul Khaliq Yahya, Director of the University’s Scientific Affairs Department, and Ms. Kamila Tawfiq Fadhel. Ms. Rand Waleed Mohammed served as the workshop rapporteur. The event was attended by officials responsible for achievement-tracking units and activities related to the Government Program.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the procedures for preparing the Government Program Form and clarify the requirements for documenting achievements and activities. It also addressed methods for organizing and verifying data to improve institutional performance and ensure compliance with the Government Program’s requirements in accordance with approved procedures.

This workshop is part of Southern Technical University’s efforts to improve administrative and academic performance and strengthen the capabilities of personnel responsible for monitoring the implementation of activities and documenting achievements. These efforts align with the university’s commitment to enhancing the quality of institutional work and achieving its strategic objectives.
