Under the patronage of the Dean of Basra Engineering Polytechnic College, Assistant Professor Dr. Diyah Kammel Shary, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Engineering Techniques and the Media and Government Communication Division, organized a three-day training course entitled “Heat Transfer in Photovoltaic-Thermal Solar Systems.” The course was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Hamid Rady.

The course aimed to highlight the scientific principles and engineering applications of heat transfer in photovoltaic-thermal solar systems. It also introduced participants to methods of harnessing solar energy and improving the efficiency of thermal systems, thereby enhancing their scientific knowledge and developing their practical skills.

The course included theoretical lectures and practical applications, as well as discussions on engineering design methods, analysis, and scientific research in renewable energy technologies. These activities aimed to keep pace with recent scientific and technological advancements and promote their application in engineering fields.
